Any regrets with 2011 Road King?
My only regret is not riding it more! I've had it one year and 5,000 miles now. It has been flawless. The 96 is an excellent motor (even better with the Fuel Moto Stage 1), and I even like the stock bars. Make sure the rear brake light switch recall has been done.
2011 RKC with a couple of mods
V&H Power Duals/Monster Rounds, Hard Bags, new wheels
Just changed the bars to 09' Heritage bars. That along with the Corbin seat has made it comfortable for my 6'3" frame.
Low speed handling is much better than my Fatboy was. Higher bars take a little getting used to at parking lot speeds.
Love this bike.

[QUOTE=KCFLHRC;9959479. It is like riding a firebox though.[/QUOTE]
I still have the CAT and have never been bothered by the heat with mine even on 95 degree days. I always ride with boots and heavy jeans though.

Love mine! I had the V&H true dual and hi output slip ons installed before I road it home. That with the Captain Itch Crotch coolers, there is not heat issue at all. Installed the heritage bars myself for about 80 bucks took care of the shoulder blade pain.
I am amazed how well the bike handles at all speeds.

My only regret is not buying a 2012 Road King Standard instead of the 2011 RKC. I have replaced my leather bags with hard bags and I'm looking to ditch my tubed tires in the near future as well. I'm happy with the 103. I would not buy a modern motorcycle without ABS and the security/keyless feature on my 2011 RKC is a must-have option in my opinion.
I'm 5'-9" with a 30" inseam and am just able to flat-foot the bike. However, confidence comes with practice and familiarity.
I must be the only one who likes the stock handlebars and I don't think my 34" arms are any longer than average. Have the owners that changed bars done it primarily because your arms were straight out to reach the stock bars, just curious?

7,000 miles on my 11 RKC and absolutely love it. Did 800 miles last weekend to the coast and back. I put on Heritage bars, Stage 1 and had the seat modified by Mean City. They dropped the riding position 3/4" so I can flat foot. I am 5'8" with a 30 inch inseam.
Love the bike but just added a Sportster 72 to the garage. I wanted a quick ride bar hopper. Different tools for different jobs.

I have a 2010 RK with Heritage Style bars, Sundowner seat, full stage one with D&D Fatcat Boss exhaust and love it. It is a very comfortable bike that can suit may different riding purposes - in town, tour, etc. I like the lighter weight on the front as a result of not having a fairing. It handles much better than my 2007 Fatboy (although the Fatboys are nice bikes too).
